Dr Cantamessa is one of the founding members of the European Association for Sports Dentistry (EA4SD). She is practicing dentistry at her private clinic in Rambouillet, France. She is the consultant dentist of the French National Football Team and referent dentist at the French Football Federation (FFF). Dr Cantamessa is a member of the FDI Sports Dentistry Task Team and one of the experts of the sports dentistry task team at the World Dental Federation (FDI) working on the publication of the FDI Sports Dentistry Guidelines and Toolkit. Dr Cantemessa is teaching Sports Dentistry courses at the U.F.R Dental Faculty, Paris. She is an international lecturer and she has published many articles. She is one of the leading doctors in the field of sports dentistry globally.

Marc Engels-Deutsch is a Professor in restorative dentistry and endodontics at Dental Faculty of Lorraine, University of Lorraine, Nancy. He received his DDS from Strasbourg University, B.Sc. from Nancy University, M.Sc. from Paris University, Ph.D. in Odontology from Strasbourg University and his Habilitation to supervise research activities (HDR French diploma) from University of Lorraine. Pr Engels-Deutsch is member of three scientific societies, author of several refereed journal articles in the fields of microbiology, immunology mechanics and endodontics. After been a general dentist practitioner for thirty years, focusing on endodontics for the past ten years, he is now hospital practitioner at the Central Hospital of Metz. He is consultant dentist at the Metz football club’s training centre for twenty-five years

Practising in Ireland Dr John Haughey provides sports dentistry support to multiple athletes, including Olympians, professional team sport athletes and professional individual sport athletes. John has provided sports dentistry support for major competitions including Baku ISG 2017, Rio Olympics 2016, Baku European Olympics 2015, European Boxing Championships 2015, Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 and London Olympics 2012. He has researched the effect of the lower jaw position on athletic performance while completing his MSc in neuromuscular therapy and contributed a chapter, titled Delivering Dental Facilities at Sporting Events, to the sports dentistry book Sports Dentistry: Principles and Practice. John is a Clinical Teaching Fellow (Sports Dentistry & Oral Health) for UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London and helps deliver the world’s only Masters in Sports Dentistry programme

Dr. Ekaterini Kyranoudi is a co-founder and General Secretary of Sports Dentistry Hellas (ΕΕΑΘΛΟ). She obtained her diploma in Dentistry from the Dental School of Athens (Greece) and her Certificate and Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry from The University of Iowa (U.S.A), under a scholarship awarded by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation.
Dr. Kyranoudi is an active member of both the Greek and the European Pediatric Dentistry Academies and reviewer of the European Archives of Pediatric Dentistry. For the last five years she is often an invited speaker in conferences all over Greece, holding presentations on the evolution of sports dentistry to audiences of professional coaches, parents of young athletes and dentists. She is a regular volunteer in sports events organized by the Hellenic Athletics Federation, supporting the prevention and therapy of oral trauma in collaboration with the Emergency Aid Centre.
She maintains her own two private practices in Athens (Greece).

Dr Evangelos Loizos received his undergraduate degree in Dentistry (D.D.S) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece (2006) and his Certificate and Master of Science in Prosthodontics from the same University (2010). He also obtained his Diploma in Sports Dentistry from UCL Eastman (London, Great Britain) (2016). From 2017 he is a PhD candidate of Dental School of Athens in the field of Sports Dentistry.

Dr. Loizos is an active member of both Sports Dentistry Hellas (ΕΕΑΘΛΟ) and the Greek Prosthodontic Association . Since 2019 he is also Board Member of Sports Dentistry Hellas. He is often an invited speaker in conferences all over Greece , and he has published a number of articles nationally and internationally.
He maintains his private practice, limited only in Prosthodontics and Sports Dentistry in Athens (Greece).

Dr. Mastoris graduated from Dental School in Athens University in 1996.
In 2000 he got a Master of Medical Science degree with a major in Odontology and especially in Oral Radiology from Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden.
In 2001 he got a Master of Science Degree in Oral Pathology with clinical specialty in Oral and Maxillofacial Diagnosis and Radiology from Athens Dental School.
He is currently clinical Instructor in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Clinic in Athens Dental School.
He is author or co-author in various scientific articles, all about Dentomaxillofacial Radiology, published in International or Greek scientific journals.
He has been invited to speak in many Congresses as a guest speaker or with scientific announcements in Greece or Internationally.
His scientific interest is focused on the use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography imaging in all fields of Dentistry as well as in the radiation dose delivered to patient from that imaging modality.

Ian is Professor of Periodontology and Evidence-informed Healthcare at UCL Eastman Dental Institute and Honorary Consultant in Periodontology with UCLH. He also leads the Centre for Oral Health and Performance (www.ucl.ac.uk/cohp) which has been awarded recognition by the International Olympic Committee as a research centre in collaboration with the Institute of Sport Exercise and Health and the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine. His research has been awarded prizes by the European Federation of Periodontology, Royal Society of Medicine, German Periodontal Society, German Cochrane Centre and International Association for Dental Research. He was nominated as an inspiring teacher at UCL in 2007 and awarded the UCL Provost’s Prize for Institutional Leadership in Public Engagement in 2017. Ian was a member of the International Olympic Committee, Scientific Committee for the 2014 Conference on Prevention of Injury and Illness in Monaco. He is a keen endurance athlete.

Christina Olivia Palimetaki is a Paediatric Dentist with more than 20 years of clinical experience. She obtained her diploma in 1999 from the Université de Liège, Belgique, followed by post-graduate studies in Paediatric Dentistry at the same University.

She has worked as Clinical Assistant at the “Clinique d’Orthodontie et de Pédodontie de l’ Université de Liège”, Belgique (1999-2001) and since 2002 works as an Independent Paediatric Dentist.

In 2006 she founded her private clinic in Athens, and since 2015 she also works in Switzerland.

She is a doctoral candidate at Universität Zürich.

Her interest fields are oral health promotion, as well as prevention and treatment of dental trauma in preschool and school children.

Dr Veronica Papakosta is a Consultant at the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Medical School of Athens, University Hospital Attikon since 2009. She is a full-time Clinician with extensive clinical and research experience. She has a lot of scientific publications in international and greek scientific journals in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, she has lectured widely in many scientific congresses and meetings, especially on oral & maxillofacial traumatology and oral cancer and she is the author of several book chapters.

She has participated as a President or a member of the Organizing Committee of several scientific congresses and meetings in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Sports Dentistry. She is a founding member of Sports Dentistry Hellas, as well as a member of Hellenic Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery,
Hellenic Professional Union of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Hellenic Anticancer Association and Hellenic Association of Head & Neck Oncology.
Her special fields of interest are Traumatology of Oral & Maxillofacial region, Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery of Head & Neck, Salivary Gland Surgery, Oral & Facial Tissue Regeneration and management of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders.

Dr Christos Rahiotis received his undergraduate degree in Dentistry (D.D.S) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, his Certificate and Master of Science in Operative Dentistry and PhD in Oral Biology from the same University. Today, he is Associate Professor of Dental School of Athens in the field of Operative Dentistry.

Dr. Rahiotis is the President of Hellenic Sports Dentistry Association (ΕΕΑΘΛΟ). He is often an invited speaker in Greek and International conferences, and he has published more than 85 papers nationally and internationally.
